Warsaw has the two ingredients a trading firm needs and rarely finds together: a deep pool of engineers and a working EU regulatory address. Firms set up here for both reasons. Then they discover that the engineers they hired want to build the product, not a withdrawal queue, a KYC dashboard and a swap engine.
That is the gap SINGUARD fills. We are a software company. We do not hold a Polish licence, we have no office in Warsaw and we never touch client money. What we do is build and run the trading platform and the back office that a licensed Polish firm operates.
Who this is for in Poland
Two kinds of firm. The first is a brokerage: an entity licensed as a Polish investment firm, or a firm operating into Poland from another member state, that needs a platform its clients will actually use and a back office its compliance officer can defend. The second is a prop firm, which in Poland usually starts as a simple Polish company selling evaluations, then grows into something that needs proper trade surveillance and payout controls. The two are not the same business and the difference matters more than most founders expect, which is why we wrote broker versus prop firm.
The regulatory backdrop, described plainly
Investment firms in Poland are supervised by the KNF, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Poland is an EU member state, so the KNF applies the MiFID II framework and the ESMA product intervention measures that cap retail CFD leverage across the union. A firm authorised in Poland can passport into other member states through the notification process rather than reapplying in each one. None of this is advice, and we do not give it. Read MiFID II explained, the ESMA leverage caps and EU passporting rules for the mechanics, then have Polish counsel tell you what applies to your specific plan.
Licensing, client funds, AML and reporting belong to your firm and to your advisers. SINGUARD supplies software and nothing else. We will not tell you which permission to apply for and we will not sign anything on your behalf.
What we actually deliver
Three products, and they are usually bought together.
eTrader is the trading platform: web, iOS and Android, with the market data feed included rather than billed as a separate line. Charts, order tickets, pending orders, alerts and the account view all run off the same feed, so what a client sees on a phone in Mokotow matches what the dealing desk sees. A Warsaw firm that has spent a year fighting a legacy terminal will notice the difference in the first week.
The Broker CRM is the operating layer: client onboarding, document review, deposits and withdrawals, account groups, spreads and markups, swap and commission settings per instrument, an audit trail on every change. The Prop Firm CRM is the parallel product for evaluation businesses: challenge templates, drawdown and consistency rules enforced by the engine rather than by a spreadsheet, breach handling and a payout queue with approvals.
Everything is fully managed. We host it, patch it, monitor it and fix it. Once your entity, licensing and paperwork are done, we can have the whole stack live in 24 hours.
Payments, banking and PLN
The practical problem in Warsaw is rarely the platform. It is the money. Polish clients expect instant local bank transfers and cards, and they expect balances that make sense to them. Firms usually settle accounts in EUR or USD while quoting deposit options in PLN, which means conversion appears somewhere and someone has to decide where. Getting a bank comfortable with a trading firm takes longer than getting the software running, and most firms end up combining a bank relationship with one or more EMIs. Our reading of that is in banking for trading firms and the EMI licence explained. SEPA rails cover the EU side, and the SEPA versus SWIFT trade-offs are in this piece.
The CRM handles the operational half: multiple deposit providers side by side, per-provider approval rules, and a withdrawal queue that shows free equity rather than raw balance so nobody releases funds against open positions.
Language, hours and how firms here structure themselves
Warsaw sits in Central European Time, one hour ahead of London, which puts your support desk in front of the London open and still awake for the New York session. Polish clients want Polish. Regional clients from Ukraine, Lithuania, Romania and the Czech Republic often prefer English or Russian. The platform and the client portal are multilingual, and support content can be set per language, so a Warsaw desk covering four markets does not need four systems.
On structure: a Polish operating company for the licensed activity, an EU bank plus EMI mix for payments, and a small in-house team on sales, retention and dealing while the technology is outsourced. That is the shape most Warsaw firms settle into, and it is the shape we build for. Firms weighing Poland against neighbouring hubs usually also look at Vilnius and Sofia, and the full set is on our locations page.
Talk to us
The fastest way to find out whether this fits is a call. Book a call or text us, tell us whether you are building a brokerage or an evaluation business, and we will tell you plainly what we would run and what we would leave to your own advisers. SINGUARD is run by its Executive Directors, Alex Onta & Roman Onta, and you speak to them, not to a sales layer.
Where SINGUARD is based, and where we meet firms in Warsaw
All of the software, the contracts and the policies come from SGHK Softwares Limited in Hong Kong, the holding company that builds and licenses eTrader and both CRMs. The team works out of Dubai, where both Executive Directors, Alex Onta and Roman Onta, live for most of the year, and our licensed UAE entity is SINGUARD GLOBAL FZC in Ajman Free Zone. We hold no office or licence in Poland, and none is needed: the platform is delivered and managed from our own clustered servers, so a firm in Warsaw runs exactly what a firm anywhere else runs, and your licence, your client money and your compliance obligations stay entirely with your own entity.
Being in Dubai keeps the team on the industry circuit and within easy reach of Warsaw for calls and meetings, in a time zone that overlaps most of the trading world.
In person, the place to find us is the industry circuit. The team attends Forex Expo Dubai and the other major shows, wearing the SINGUARD and eTrader shirts, and you can walk up without an appointment, ask for a live demo of the terminal and both CRMs, and talk to the Executive Directors directly in English, Italian, Romanian or Russian. See where to find us at the expo.
Frequently Asked Questions

No. SINGUARD is a software company and has no office, entity, staff or licence in Poland. We build and run the platform and the CRMs remotely for firms based in Warsaw, and the team travels to industry events across Europe.
Which regulator supervises investment firms in Poland?
The KNF, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, supervises investment firms and brokerage houses in Poland, within the MiFID II framework that applies across the EU. Licensing and reporting stay with your firm.
Can SINGUARD help a Warsaw firm get a licence?
No. We are not a law firm or a consultancy and we do not apply for anything on your behalf. We build the trading and back-office software that a licensed Polish firm runs, and we hand over the technical detail your compliance people ask for.
