SINGUARD in Lithuania

Broker and prop firm software in Vilnius.

Vilnius is where a lot of European trading money meets its payment infrastructure. SINGUARD supplies the trading platform and the back office above it, fully managed, live in 24 hours once your licensing is in place.

Ask any European trading firm where its payment stack lives and Vilnius comes up within two answers. Lithuania spent a decade becoming the place electronic money institutions incorporate, and a large share of the EUR rails that broker and prop firms use somewhere in the chain touch a Lithuanian institution. Founders notice this, and some of them decide to put the trading business in the same city.

The payment side being solved does not solve the trading side. A Vilnius firm still needs a platform, a dealing setup and an operating back office. That is where we come in, and only there. SINGUARD is a software company with no Lithuanian entity, no office in Vilnius and no licence anywhere.

Who this is for

People starting or already running a brokerage in Lithuania, and people building an evaluation business. A brokerage needs client accounts, dealing, payments and reporting held together. A prop firm needs challenge rules that the system enforces on its own and a payout process nobody can argue with. Founders who have not yet chosen between the two should read broker versus prop firm before signing anything, because the licensing and the software diverge immediately.

The Lithuanian regulatory backdrop

The Bank of Lithuania is both the central bank and the financial supervisor. It authorises and supervises investment firms, and it authorises electronic money institutions and payment institutions, which is the reason so much of the region's fintech sits here. Lithuania is in the EU and the euro area, so MiFID II applies to investment firms and the ESMA retail leverage measures apply to CFD offerings. Authorisation in Lithuania can be passported into other member states by notification. Background on the mechanics is in MiFID II explained, the EMI licence explained and EU passporting rules.

We describe how the framework works. We never tell a firm which permission to seek. SINGUARD sells software; your licensing, client funds, AML programme and reporting stay inside your firm and with your advisers.

What SINGUARD runs for you

eTrader is the trading platform across web, iOS and Android, with the market data feed built in rather than invoiced separately. Charting, order tickets, pending orders, price alerts and account state all come off one feed, so the client view and the desk view agree.

The Broker CRM handles onboarding and document review, deposits and withdrawals, account groups, spreads and markups, swaps and commissions per instrument, and an audit trail on every setting change. The Prop Firm CRM handles the evaluation business: challenge templates, daily and overall drawdown, consistency rules applied by the engine, breach records, and a payout queue with approval steps.

Fully managed means we host it, patch it, monitor it and answer when something breaks at eleven at night. Once your own paperwork is finished, the stack goes live in 24 hours.

Payments, currency and the practical local angle

Lithuania is in the euro area, so SEPA is the default rail and EUR is the natural account currency. That removes one problem and creates another: many trading firms want USD accounts as well, because their liquidity, their swap conventions and their prop firm pricing are quoted in dollars. Somebody then has to decide where conversion happens and who pays for it. Multi-currency accounts and SEPA versus SWIFT cover the trade-offs. On the acquiring side, card approval rates for trading firms are lower than for ordinary retail, which is why most firms in Vilnius run more than one provider and route around failures. Crypto deposits show up for the non-EU part of the client base, and the operational side of that is in crypto payments for trading firms.

The CRM's job here is simple and unglamorous: several providers configured at once, deposits matched to accounts automatically, and withdrawals queued against free equity rather than raw balance.

Languages, hours and team shape

Vilnius sits on Eastern European Time, two hours ahead of London and seven ahead of New York. A single shift covers the London open, the European session and the first half of New York, which is why so many regional support desks are staffed here. Lithuanian, English, Russian and Polish are the working languages in most Vilnius offices, and the platform and client portal follow the same pattern.

The typical structure is a Lithuanian operating company, a payments arrangement built on local EMI relationships, a small in-house sales and dealing team, and technology bought as a service. Founders comparing the Baltics against Central Europe usually look at Warsaw and Tbilisi as well, and the full list is on our locations page.

Where SINGUARD is based, and where we meet firms in Vilnius

All of the software, the contracts and the policies come from SGHK Softwares Limited in Hong Kong, the holding company that builds and licenses eTrader and both CRMs. The team works out of Dubai, where both Executive Directors, Alex Onta and Roman Onta, live for most of the year, and our licensed UAE entity is SINGUARD GLOBAL FZC in Ajman Free Zone. We hold no office or licence in Lithuania, and none is needed: the platform is delivered and managed from our own clustered servers, so a firm in Vilnius runs exactly what a firm anywhere else runs, and your licence, your client money and your compliance obligations stay entirely with your own entity.

Being in Dubai keeps the team on the industry circuit and within easy reach of Vilnius for calls and meetings, in a time zone that overlaps most of the trading world.

In person, the place to find us is the industry circuit. The team attends Forex Expo Dubai and the other major shows, wearing the SINGUARD and eTrader shirts, and you can walk up without an appointment, ask for a live demo of the terminal and both CRMs, and talk to the Executive Directors directly in English, Italian, Romanian or Russian. See where to find us at the expo.
