SINGUARD in Switzerland

Broker and prop firm software for firms in Switzerland.

Swiss firms ask harder questions about hosting, data and uptime than most, and they are the right questions. SINGUARD builds the trading platform and the CRMs, runs them, and answers for them.

Swiss financial firms carry a reputational premium that takes years to build and one bad quarter to spend. That is the practical reason a Swiss brokerage or asset manager asks harder questions about a trading platform than a firm in a lighter-touch jurisdiction does. Who runs the servers. Where the client data sits. What happens to the feed at 15:30 on a payroll Friday.

This page is for firms operating from Switzerland that need trading technology: a broker building a retail or professional offering, or a proprietary trading firm running evaluations from a Swiss company. SINGUARD supplies the software. Everything regulated stays with your firm.

The regulatory backdrop

FINMA supervises banks, securities firms, insurers and fund managers, and Swiss law separates activities that need a FINMA licence from those that need supervision through a supervisory organisation or membership of a self-regulatory body under the anti money laundering rules. A securities firm licence, a portfolio manager licence and a plain operating company are three different things with three different cost bases, and the choice is made with Swiss counsel long before a platform is picked. What matters on this page is the downstream effect: onboarding evidence, client classification between retail and professional, ongoing monitoring, record retention and a reporting trail that an auditor can follow. Background reading in broker KYC and compliance, capital requirements for brokers and client fund segregation.

Switzerland sits outside the EU, so a Swiss firm does not passport into the EEA and cross-border marketing into member states follows the rules of each target country. Firms that want both usually run a second European entity. Our articles on third country firms and the EU and EU passporting rules explain the mechanism. Data protection expectations are also higher than average here, and we answer hosting and data questions in writing during onboarding, see data residency rules.

What SINGUARD provides

eTrader is the trading platform on web, iOS and Android, with its own price feed included. The Broker CRM is the back office and client portal: onboarding and KYC status, deposits and withdrawals, instrument sets, spreads and markups per server, risk tiers and the reports your compliance function needs. The Prop Firm CRM runs challenges, rule breach detection, funded accounts and payout approvals.

All of it is fully managed by us. We host, patch, monitor the feed and support your desk directly. Once your licensing and paperwork are in place, the stack goes live within 24 hours under your own brand. If you are still comparing options, read choosing a trading platform.

SINGUARD has no Swiss office, entity, licence or local staff, and never holds client funds. We build and operate software for firms established in Switzerland. The licence, the client accounts and the compliance duties are your firm's.

Payments and banking

Swiss banking is the part Swiss firms complain about least and everyone else envies, but a new trading firm still faces a real onboarding file and a bank that will ask exactly what the flows look like. The franc is a base currency your clients will expect alongside the euro and the dollar, and euro payments run over SEPA while domestic francs move on the Swiss interbank rail. Cards, e-wallets and crypto processors sit on top depending on the client base. Read banking for trading firms, SEPA and SWIFT and multi-currency accounts.

The CRM records every rail your firm contracts for as a configured method with its own approval queue, limits and reconciliation. SINGUARD is not a bank or a payment institution, and no client money touches our systems.

Clients, languages and the trading day

Local realityHow it shows up in the software
CET, aligned with the European sessionCut-offs, statements and reporting set to your own trading day
German, French, Italian and English clientsPortal, apps and emails per client language from one back office
Franc alongside euro and dollarAccount currency per account, fees converted when they are booked
Retail and professional client splitPer-tier leverage, instruments and disclosures by client segment

Support here is usually a European day desk with a language rota rather than a follow-the-sun operation, which is workable because the same product serves every segment and only the configuration differs.

How firms here usually structure themselves

The common shape is a small Swiss entity with senior people and compliance in Geneva or Zug, a clear split between the regulated activity and everything else, and technology bought as a managed service rather than built. Firms that want EU distribution alongside the Swiss entity usually look at Malta, and firms chasing Asian flow look at Singapore. The rest of the markets we cover sit on the locations page.

SINGUARD's Executive Directors, Alex Onta & Roman Onta, handle these conversations themselves. Alex Onta built eTrader with Roman Onta on the design and leads it, and the two built the Broker CRM and the Prop Firm CRM together, along with compliance, payments and corporate structuring. Book a call or text us and we will show you the live system first.

Where SINGUARD is based, and where we meet firms in Switzerland

All of the software, the contracts and the policies come from SGHK Softwares Limited in Hong Kong, the holding company that builds and licenses eTrader and both CRMs. The team works out of Dubai, where both Executive Directors, Alex Onta and Roman Onta, live for most of the year, and our licensed UAE entity is SINGUARD GLOBAL FZC in Ajman Free Zone. We hold no office or licence in Switzerland, and none is needed: the platform is delivered and managed from our own clustered servers, so a firm in Switzerland runs exactly what a firm anywhere else runs, and your licence, your client money and your compliance obligations stay entirely with your own entity.

Being in Dubai keeps the team on the industry circuit and within easy reach of Switzerland for calls and meetings, in a time zone that overlaps most of the trading world.

In person, the place to find us is the industry circuit. The team attends Forex Expo Dubai and the other major shows, wearing the SINGUARD and eTrader shirts, and you can walk up without an appointment, ask for a live demo of the terminal and both CRMs, and talk to the Executive Directors directly in English, Italian, Romanian or Russian. See where to find us at the expo.
