SINGUARD for firms in Turkey

Broker and prop firm software for Istanbul firms.

Istanbul is where a large share of the industry's sales and support talent sits. SINGUARD gives the firms built around that talent a trading platform, a Broker CRM and a Prop Firm CRM, fully managed and branded as theirs.

Walk through Maslak or Atasehir and you will find floors full of people who have sold financial products in four languages for a decade. Turkey exports that skill. A great many brokers with licences somewhere else run their commercial operation out of Istanbul, and a growing number of prop firms were founded by people who learned the business on those floors.

Whatever your entity looks like, the technology question is the same. You need a platform traders will use, a data feed you are not chasing, a back office that keeps a record, and payments that clear. SINGUARD supplies all of it as one managed service, live within 24 hours once your own licensing and paperwork are in place.

Who this is for in Turkey

Firms authorised domestically and selling to Turkish clients. Firms licensed elsewhere with their sales, marketing and support teams in Istanbul. And prop firms, which have taken off here because the trader base is young, mobile and comfortable paying for an evaluation. Prop firms are a distinct business with distinct failure modes, set out in the prop firm business model article.

The regulatory backdrop, described only

In Turkey the Capital Markets Board, the CMB, authorises and supervises investment firms, and leveraged FX intermediation for Turkish resident clients is a licensed activity with capital requirements, leverage limits and marketing restrictions attached. The CMB has also acted repeatedly against unauthorised websites offering leveraged products to Turkish residents, so who your firm may lawfully approach, and how, is a question for Turkish counsel before it is a question for a marketing team.

None of that is advice and we do not give it. The distinction that matters commercially is between soliciting Turkish retail clients and operating an office in Istanbul that serves clients elsewhere. Those are different legal positions with different obligations, and only your lawyers can place your firm in the right one. The general mechanics of who a licence lets you approach are in licence versus registration and in the piece on cross-border limits.

SINGUARD has no office, entity, staff or licence in Turkey. We are a software vendor whose clients operate from Istanbul, and our team travels to industry events, including the Istanbul expos, to meet them.

What SINGUARD provides

eTrader is the trading platform: web, iOS and Android under your brand, with the data feed included rather than sourced separately. Alex Onta built it with Roman Onta on the design, and Alex leads it. The Broker CRM runs onboarding, KYC, deposits, withdrawals, client accounts and the audit trail. The Prop Firm CRM adds evaluation phases, drawdown and consistency rules enforced on the server, payout requests and certificates. Alex Onta and Roman Onta built both CRMs together.

For an Istanbul sales floor the CRM matters more than the platform. Fifty agents, shift handovers, call outcomes, recycled leads and a compliance officer who has to prove what was said and when: that is the daily reality, and it is the reason we wrote about how an operations desk is actually staffed. Cold outreach rules differ by market and are not a matter of taste, as the cold calling rules article explains.

Payments, currency and the practical angle

Turkey is a lira economy with a long inflation record, and that shapes client behaviour more than any feature you ship. Clients think in dollars for savings and in lira for daily life, so quoting, deposits and withdrawals need to be unambiguous about which currency a number is in. Our software always shows an amount with its currency, in the account currency, because getting that wrong once destroys trust in a support conversation.

Local cards dominate deposits, bank transfer is normal for larger amounts, and crypto adoption among Turkish traders is high by any standard, which pushes many firms toward a crypto rail alongside cards. The compliance side of that is in crypto payments for trading firms, and the general routing problem in the multi-PSP piece. Cross-border settlement and FX conversion costs deserve a look too, which is what your PSP charges on conversion.

Language, hours and how firms structure themselves

Turkish first, and properly translated rather than machine-rendered, because a client who reads an awkward risk warning stops reading. Many Istanbul desks also cover Arabic, Russian, Farsi and English from the same floor, which is exactly why firms put the desk here. Our platform and portals are localised, so an Arabic-speaking client and a Turkish-speaking client each get their own interface while your staff work in one CRM.

Turkey runs on GMT+3, so the desk opens with the Asian afternoon, works the whole European session and stays live into the New York open. One shift covers three sessions. As for structure, the common pattern is a licensed entity in one jurisdiction and an operating company in Istanbul for staff and marketing under a service agreement. Firms looking at that split usually compare the island options, covered on the Seychelles page and the Mauritius page, and the full list is on the locations index.

Where SINGUARD is based, and where we meet firms in Istanbul

All of the software, the contracts and the policies come from SGHK Softwares Limited in Hong Kong, the holding company that builds and licenses eTrader and both CRMs. The team works out of Dubai, where both Executive Directors, Alex Onta and Roman Onta, live for most of the year, and our licensed UAE entity is SINGUARD GLOBAL FZC in Ajman Free Zone. We hold no office or licence in Turkey, and none is needed: the platform is delivered and managed from our own clustered servers, so a firm in Istanbul runs exactly what a firm anywhere else runs, and your licence, your client money and your compliance obligations stay entirely with your own entity.

Being in Dubai keeps the team on the industry circuit and within easy reach of Istanbul for calls and meetings, in a time zone that overlaps most of the trading world.

In person, the place to find us is the industry circuit. The team attends Forex Expo Dubai and the other major shows, wearing the SINGUARD and eTrader shirts, and you can walk up without an appointment, ask for a live demo of the terminal and both CRMs, and talk to the Executive Directors directly in English, Italian, Romanian or Russian. See where to find us at the expo.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does SINGUARD have an office in Istanbul?

No. SINGUARD has no office, entity, staff or licence in Turkey. We are a software company whose clients run desks in Istanbul, and our team travels to industry events there to meet them.

Can a firm in Turkey use SINGUARD to serve Turkish retail clients?

That depends on your firm's authorisation under Turkish law, which is a question for Turkish counsel and the Capital Markets Board rules, not for a software vendor. We supply the platform and CRM to firms that have settled their own legal position.

Is the trading platform available in Turkish?

Yes. The platform and the client portal are localised, so Turkish clients read Turkish while an Istanbul desk covering Arabic, Russian or English works from the same CRM.

How quickly can an Istanbul desk go live?

Within 24 hours of your own licensing, banking and payment paperwork being in place. Branding, configuration, hosting and monitoring are handled by our team as part of the managed service.
