SINGUARD for firms in Qatar

Broker and prop firm software for Doha.

SINGUARD provides the trading platform, the Broker CRM and the Prop Firm CRM that firms in Doha run on, in Arabic and English. Software only, fully managed, live in 24 hours once your paperwork is done.

Doha desks tend to run two client books at once. Arabic-speaking local clients on one side, an expatriate and regional book in English on the other, with different deposit habits, different support hours and different expectations of what a platform should look like. One system has to hold both without either side feeling like an afterthought.

SINGUARD builds that system. We are a software company: not a broker, not a bank, not a payment institution, not an advisor. We hold no registration, licence, office or staff in Qatar or in the Qatar Financial Centre. Firms in Doha licence our software and keep their own permissions, client money and compliance function entirely on their side.

Who this is for

Founders opening a brokerage from Doha, established firms replacing a stack that has stopped scaling, and the growing set of people building proprietary trading firms in the Gulf. Prop firms have different operational needs from brokers, mainly around rule enforcement and payouts, and the split is set out in broker versus prop firm.

The regulatory picture, described only

Qatar runs more than one perimeter. Firms established inside the Qatar Financial Centre are authorised and supervised by the QFC Regulatory Authority, the QFCRA, under the QFC's own rulebooks. Outside that perimeter, the onshore regime applies instead. Which one a given firm sits under, and whether it may serve retail clients at all, is a legal question with a real answer that depends on the activity and the clients. Firms serving the wider region from Doha frequently hold their client-facing licence elsewhere. Background on those routes is in offshore broker licences, broker licence costs compared and, for the nearest comparable regime, the DFSA in Dubai.

This is descriptive only. SINGUARD gives no legal, regulatory or investment advice and holds no Qatari authorisation. Licensing, client funds, marketing permissions and AML duties stay with the operating firm and its own advisors.

The software

eTrader is the trading platform: web, iOS and Android, with charting, order and position management, alerts, and its own market data feed rather than a rented one. The Broker CRM runs the client lifecycle, KYC queues, deposits and withdrawals, account creation, IB structures and desk reporting. The Prop Firm CRM runs challenges, phases, the rule engine, breach records, trader dashboards and payout approvals.

Everything is fully managed. We host it, update it, monitor it and support it, which is why a five-person firm in Doha can run the same infrastructure as a much larger one. Once your own licensing and paperwork are done, the software is live in 24 hours. That is our part of the timeline and says nothing about how long any authorisation takes.

Payments, banking, hours

Qatari riyal accounts, regional card acquiring and international correspondent banking rarely come from the same provider, so most Doha firms end up routing deposits by client type. Card for local retail, bank transfer for larger tickets, and increasingly stablecoin settlement for the international book. The trade-offs are covered in banking for trading firms, SWIFT fees explained and crypto payments for trading firms. SINGUARD integrates whichever processors you sign with and never holds client funds.

Swap-free account handling comes up in almost every Doha conversation. The platform supports it as a configuration option. How the account is described, marketed and certified stays with the firm, and the mechanics are in swap-free versus swap.

Doha runs three hours ahead of London in winter, which puts the London open in the early afternoon and the New York open after dinner. Firms here staff support around the evening rather than the morning, and both CRMs let you assign agents and languages to shift windows. Neighbouring markets are covered on Manama and Riyadh, with the full set on the locations index.

How Doha firms structure themselves

The usual pattern is an operating company for staff, marketing and technology, and a separately licensed client-facing entity, sometimes in the QFC and sometimes elsewhere, chosen on the advice of local counsel. Payment relationships are usually held by a third entity again. None of that changes the deployment. The platform carries the client-facing firm's brand, domain and account structure, and clients see the firm, not us.

Who builds it

eTrader was built by Alex Onta, with Roman Onta helping on the design, and Alex leads the platform. The Prop Firm CRM, the Broker CRM, Scalegram and CopySignals were built by Alex Onta and Roman Onta together, and the two of them carry compliance, payments and corporate structuring together. When you book a call, that is who you get.

Start the conversation

Book a call or text us with your licence position, your target client base and your payment providers, and we will tell you what the software covers and what it does not. If you are still at the planning stage, read how to start a forex brokerage and starting a brokerage without a tech team first.

Where SINGUARD is based, and where we meet firms in Doha

All of the software, the contracts and the policies come from SGHK Softwares Limited in Hong Kong, the holding company that builds and licenses eTrader and both CRMs. The team works out of Dubai, where both Executive Directors, Alex Onta and Roman Onta, live for most of the year, and our licensed UAE entity is SINGUARD GLOBAL FZC in Ajman Free Zone. We hold no office or licence in Qatar, and none is needed: the platform is delivered and managed from our own clustered servers, so a firm in Doha runs exactly what a firm anywhere else runs, and your licence, your client money and your compliance obligations stay entirely with your own entity.

Being in Dubai keeps the team on the industry circuit and within easy reach of Doha for calls and meetings, in a time zone that overlaps most of the trading world.

In person, the place to find us is the industry circuit. The team attends Forex Expo Dubai and the other major shows, wearing the SINGUARD and eTrader shirts, and you can walk up without an appointment, ask for a live demo of the terminal and both CRMs, and talk to the Executive Directors directly in English, Italian, Romanian or Russian. See where to find us at the expo.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does SINGUARD have a presence in Doha or the QFC?

No. SINGUARD has no office, entity, staff or registration in Qatar or in the Qatar Financial Centre. We are a software company serving firms in the Doha market remotely, and the team travels to industry events.

Who regulates financial firms in Doha?

Firms inside the Qatar Financial Centre are authorised and supervised by the QFC Regulatory Authority, the QFCRA, under the QFC framework. Which regime applies to a specific firm is a question for its own legal counsel, not for a software vendor.

Can a Doha firm serve Arabic and English clients on one system?

Yes. eTrader and both CRMs run multi-language with right-to-left Arabic layout, so a Doha desk can serve local Arabic speakers and an English-speaking expatriate or international book from one back office.

How long does a Doha deployment take?

The software side goes live in 24 hours once the firm's own licensing, banking and paperwork are settled. Hosting, updates and monitoring are fully managed by SINGUARD after that.
