SINGUARD in Brazil

Broker and prop firm software for Sao Paulo firms.

Pix taught Brazilian traders that money moves in seconds, and they judge a firm on whether payouts keep up. SINGUARD supplies the trading platform and the CRM behind it, fully managed, live in 24 hours once your own paperwork is in place.

Pix changed what Brazilian traders expect from a firm. Money moves between accounts in seconds, at any hour, for free in most consumer cases, and a client who has been paid instantly by every other service in their life will not accept a three day withdrawal from a trading firm without complaining loudly in public. That single expectation shapes more of a Sao Paulo firm's operations than the choice of charting library ever will.

This page is for people running or launching a brokerage or a prop firm out of Sao Paulo: what SINGUARD supplies, what stays with your firm, and the local realities around payments, language and hours.

The regulatory backdrop in Brazil

Securities and derivatives markets in Brazil are supervised by the CVM, the Comissao de Valores Mobiliarios, while the Banco Central do Brasil governs the foreign exchange market, payment institutions and Pix itself. B3 is the domestic exchange for listed derivatives. Retail contracts for difference are not offered to Brazilian residents in the way they are in Europe or the Gulf, and firms marketing leveraged products into Brazil from abroad have drawn public warnings, which is why so many groups with a Sao Paulo presence keep the operating entity elsewhere and run a marketing or technology company locally.

SINGUARD is not a broker, a bank, a payment institution or an adviser, and gives no legal advice. Authorisation, client money and compliance are your firm's responsibility with your own counsel. What the software does is produce the record keeping those obligations imply: an audit trail on every account change, per client statements, exportable transaction reporting, and a client portal that holds verification documents against the file. If you are still mapping the options, offshore broker licences and regulated versus unregulated brokers set out the mechanics plainly.

What SINGUARD supplies

eTrader is the trading platform: web and native apps, charting, order entry, the price and data feed behind it, and the broker dashboard your dealing desk watches. Alex Onta built eTrader with Roman Onta helping on the design, and Alex leads it.

The Broker CRM covers onboarding and verification, deposits and withdrawals across the rails you connect, accounts and groups, markups and swaps per instrument, partner tracking and reporting. The Prop Firm CRM runs challenges: products, the rules engine measuring drawdown and consistency against live account state, certificates, payouts and the trader dashboard. Alex Onta and Roman Onta built both CRMs together and carry compliance, payments and corporate structuring between them.

Everything is fully managed. We host it, patch it, monitor it and pick up when something breaks at 03:00 in Sao Paulo. Once your own licensing and paperwork are in place, the platform can be live within 24 hours.

SINGUARD has no Brazilian office, entity, licence or staff. We are a software company serving firms in the Sao Paulo market from outside the country, and the team travels to industry events. Licensing, client funds and compliance stay with your firm.

Payments and banking realities

Brazil is one of the few markets where the local rail is genuinely better than the international one. Pix settles in seconds and is the default for consumers, boleto still appears for older clients, and domestic cards are issued largely by a handful of banks with their own approval behaviour. Cross border is the harder half: moving reais out to a group account abroad involves an authorised institution and documentation on the purpose of the transfer, and that step, not the deposit, is where firms lose days. Our notes on Pix payments and local payment methods go into the detail.

Both CRMs are processor agnostic. You connect the Pix and card providers your firm has been approved for, and the system reconciles them into a single ledger per client, in reais, dollars or both. On the prop firm side the withdrawal path is what your traders will discuss in public, so it is worth designing the payout queue before launch rather than after the first busy month.

Language, hours and how firms are structured

Portuguese is not optional. A Brazilian client base expects the portal, emails, certificates and support in Portuguese, and firms in Sao Paulo frequently sell into Spanish speaking Latin America as well, so the same installation has to serve both. Language follows the client profile, not the firm, and support macros and templates can be maintained per language. Marketing has the same constraint, which localised marketing covers.

Sao Paulo runs three hours behind UTC, which places the desk across the New York session and gives European mornings to the back office. The detail that matters is the daily cut. If reporting days close on a European server clock, your Brazilian staff spend every morning reading yesterday. Statement cut-offs, session markers and challenge day boundaries are set per firm.

Structurally, most groups with a Sao Paulo team split the company: local staff for marketing, support and product, with the licensed operating entity in another jurisdiction. The software runs several brands, entities and separate books on one installation, which is usually the reason a growing firm replaces two vendors with one.

Where SINGUARD is based, and where we meet firms in Sao Paulo

All of the software, the contracts and the policies come from SGHK Softwares Limited in Hong Kong, the holding company that builds and licenses eTrader and both CRMs. The team works out of Dubai, where both Executive Directors, Alex Onta and Roman Onta, live for most of the year, and our licensed UAE entity is SINGUARD GLOBAL FZC in Ajman Free Zone. We hold no office or licence in Brazil, and none is needed: the platform is delivered and managed from our own clustered servers, so a firm in Sao Paulo runs exactly what a firm anywhere else runs, and your licence, your client money and your compliance obligations stay entirely with your own entity.

Being in Dubai keeps the team on the industry circuit and within easy reach of Sao Paulo for calls and meetings, in a time zone that overlaps most of the trading world.

In person, the place to find us is the industry circuit. The team attends Forex Expo Dubai and the other major shows, wearing the SINGUARD and eTrader shirts, and you can walk up without an appointment, ask for a live demo of the terminal and both CRMs, and talk to the Executive Directors directly in English, Italian, Romanian or Russian. See where to find us at the expo.
