Scalegram for Brokers.

Brokers ended up on Telegram because their clients did. What arrived with the clients was a compliance surface nobody in the firm designed.

Alex Onta, Executive Director, SINGUARD By August 28, 2026 6 min read

Walk into most retail brokers and the Telegram operation is a phone. Sometimes several phones, held by regional staff, answering clients in Vietnamese or Portuguese at hours the compliance team is asleep. There is no record of what was said, no consistency between one agent and the next, and no way to tell whether last night's answer about leverage was accurate or invented.

That arrangement works until it does not, and when it stops working it does so in front of a regulator or a court. The interesting question is not whether to automate it. It is what the automation is allowed to say.

What the bot may not say, enforced on the way out

For a broker this is the first specification, not the last. A message going to a client must not contain investment advice, must not predict a market, must not promise a return, and must not imply a guarantee. A prompt asking a model to behave is not a control, because a determined customer will talk it out of one.

Scalegram enforces it at the message level. Promises the business cannot keep are blocked, invented claims are blocked, and flirtatious or romantic framing is blocked outright, which matters more than firms expect: a sales conversation that drifts personal is the one that ends up screenshotted. The reasoning is in the guardrails on what a bot may say, and the harder rule in no fake promises.

What the bot may say is the material you seeded: your spreads policy, your funding methods, your document requirements, your hours. Everything else is a handoff.

The desk answers in the client's language

Brokers are multilingual businesses staffed by monolingual desks. A message in Arabic at 02:00 either waits for the regional agent or gets an English reply that reads as indifference. The assistant answers in the language the message arrived in, working from the same seeded facts regardless of language, so the Portuguese answer and the English answer say the same thing. That consistency is worth as much as the coverage.

Nothing is granted on a claim

Client-facing perks on Telegram are usually gated on something: funding an account, reaching a tier, joining under a partner. When that gate is manual it becomes an argument. Scalegram checks instead. Where the broker exposes a partner or account feed, the account identifier is verified and the funding state confirmed before access is issued, and a failed check returns the reason rather than dropping the person. The pattern is described in verifying a deposit before the VIP invite.

SINGUARD sells software. It is not a broker, bank, custodian or adviser, and nothing here is investment advice. Each firm remains responsible for its own licensing, AML and KYC obligations, client money and the content it publishes. Leveraged trading carries a high risk of loss.

The conversations are not stored, which is the point

Most brokers assume any messaging tool means a transcript archive in a vendor's database, and for a firm holding client identity data across several jurisdictions that is a genuine problem rather than a checkbox. Scalegram takes the other route. No message content is stored at all. What exists is the contact, its stage, when it was last in touch, and a link that opens the real Telegram conversation.

Note what that does and does not give you. It removes a data store you would otherwise have to secure, map, and answer for. It also means Scalegram is not a supervision archive: if your obligations require retained communications records, that requirement has to be met elsewhere, deliberately, with your compliance team's input. Being clear about which of those two situations you are in is the whole decision.

Attribution that survives the Telegram hop

Brokers spend heavily on paid acquisition and then lose the trail at the Telegram door, because a channel join reports nothing back. Tracking links carry campaign parameters through the click, the join is recorded against them, and registration and funding fire back as conversion events with values attached where they exist. Cost per funded account stops being a Sunday spreadsheet.

There is also a Meta Ads sync, so campaign and creative data sits beside the leads rather than in a separate tab, and a creative hygiene step before anything reaches the ad platform. For a broker with a marketing team and a compliance team who disagree twice a week, having both looking at the same record helps more than either would admit.

Where it sits next to the rest of the stack

Scalegram is the front edge. It does not hold accounts, does not process deposits, does not run KYC and does not touch trading. Those belong in the firm's own systems, and for brokers running on our software that is the Broker CRM and client portal. Everything in Scalegram connects on one Integrations page, teammates get read, add, write and delete permissions per area, and the whole thing installs on a phone as a web app for the regional staff who live on one.

How a desk usually rolls it out

The firms that get value from this do it in a narrow order. They start with one language and one topic, normally funding methods and document requirements, because those are the questions with the highest volume and the lowest risk of a wrong answer. They seed the facts from the existing help pages rather than writing new copy, which surfaces the contradictions between what the website says and what the desk has been saying for a year.

Then they widen. A second language, then the account-opening questions, then the perks and access gates. Everything the bot cannot answer keeps going to a person, and the list of handoffs becomes the backlog of facts still to seed. Firms that instead switch everything on at once spend the first fortnight arguing with the tool.

SINGUARD's Executive Directors, Alex Onta & Roman Onta, build Scalegram alongside the Broker CRM and the Prop Firm CRM, which is why the stage model and the attribution layer look familiar if you already run one of them.

"A broker's Telegram desk is the least supervised part of the firm and the one most likely to say something it should not. That is a tooling failure, not a staff failure."

Key Takeaways

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Scalegram act as our communications retention record?

No. It stores no message content by design. If your licence requires retained client communications, that obligation has to be met separately and deliberately with your compliance team.

Will the assistant answer questions about markets?

It answers from the facts you seeded about your own firm. Market predictions, return promises and anything that reads as investment advice are blocked, and those conversations go to a person.

Does this replace our CRM or client portal?

No. Scalegram runs the Telegram layer in front of the firm. Accounts, deposits, KYC and trading stay in the broker's own systems.
