Prop Firm in a Box: What Turnkey Really Means.

"Turnkey" is the most abused word in prop-firm software. Here is the checklist of what must actually be inside the box — and how a complete bundle goes from kickoff to selling challenges in 24 hours.

Every vendor in this industry now sells a "prop firm in a box." Look inside most of those boxes and you'll find a CRM — and a to-do list. The platform licence is your problem. The data feed is your problem. Payment processing, KYC, terms of service, the website: your problem, your problem, your problem. That isn't a firm in a box; it's a box with one part in it and five purchase orders taped to the lid.

The test of a genuine turnkey offer is brutally simple: after you pay, is there anything left to source, integrate or build before a stranger can buy a challenge on your domain? If the answer is yes, you're assembling a stack, just with extra marketing. Here is what a true firm-in-a-box must contain, piece by piece — and why completeness is exactly what makes a 24-hour launch possible.

1. The CRM: Storefront, Rules and Back Office

The CRM is the operating system of the firm. It has to cover the whole lifecycle, not just checkout: a branded challenge storefront with configurable account sizes and evaluation types; a rules engine that enforces drawdown, targets, consistency and prohibited-strategy rules automatically; KYC queues; payout rules and a reviewed payout queue; a multi-level affiliate program; staff roles; and a permanent audit log behind every decision. If any of those arrive as "integrations available," they're line items you'll be paying for separately later.

2. The Trading Platform — Included, Not Referred

This is where most boxes fall apart. A CRM that "supports MT5" still leaves you to buy the licence, host the servers and negotiate the bridge — the heaviest cost and the longest wait in the whole project. In the Singuard bundle the platform is simply inside the box: eTrader, web-native with native iOS and Android apps (coming soon), branded to you and already wired into the CRM's risk engine with positions syncing every 500ms. Prefer another terminal? The CRM bridges in one click to MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, NinjaTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker — the box shouldn't lock you in, it should just be complete on day one.

3. The Data Feed — The Contract Nobody Budgets For

A trading platform without prices is furniture. Traditionally the feed is its own vendor, its own negotiation and its own monthly bill. A real firm-in-a-box ships with live market data flowing on day one: eTrader streams from a 70ms-updated feed that's included free to use — no separate contract to source, and one entire vendor relationship deleted from your list.

4. Payments — Connected and Approved, Not "Supported"

Checkout is where turnkey claims meet reality. Prop firms are a high-risk underwriting category; a vendor that hands you a Stripe-style integration doc has not solved your problem. The bundle approach works differently: Singuard is a partner to a wide network of fintechs and PSPs, introduces you to card and crypto processors that actually approve prop firms — at the highest approval rates through that relationship — and every processor connects to the CRM via API in one click. Promo codes, split-fee pricing, checkout links and the reviewed payout queue are already wired to it. You take money from the first hour.

5. KYC and Compliance Tooling

No verified identity, no payout — that rule has to be enforced by software from day one. Inside the box: automated verification through Sumsub, Onfido or Veriff (or manual document review), email verification, passwordless sign-in with two-factor authentication, account suspension controls and an audit log no one can quietly edit. The compliance process stays yours; the tooling it runs on ships ready.

6. Policies and the Website

Two pieces almost every vendor forgets. First, written terms and trading policies — the legal baseline your storefront cannot responsibly operate without. The Singuard package ships with policies written for you, and the vetting is real: proprietary-trading firms are asked for a lawyer's opinion on the lawfulness of their model before going live. Second, the website — a conversion-ready marketing site built alongside the platform, or a straight plug-in to the site you already have. The box should end at a working funnel, not at a login page.

The completeness test: CRM, platform, feed, payments, KYC, policies, website — seven items. Count how many are inside the box you're being sold. Anything missing is a contract, an integration project and a delay with your name on it.

Why Completeness Is What Makes 24 Hours Possible

The 24-hour launch isn't a heroic onboarding team working overnight — it's an architectural consequence. Because every component is pre-built, pre-integrated and hosted on Singuard's managed clusters, launch is configuration, not construction: your branding, domain, challenge rules and payment details go in; a working firm comes out. There is no development phase because there is nothing left to develop, and no servers to stand up because you never host any. Compare that with the assembled path, where each vendor's onboarding queue alone is measured in weeks — the full arithmetic is in our cost breakdown.

Completeness also changes who you need to hire. A stitched stack needs a tech team to integrate it and keep it standing; a managed box needs nobody — Singuard hosts, monitors, patches and scales the whole thing, and new features roll out to every firm automatically. Your headcount goes into trading review and marketing, not DevOps.

What Is Never in the Box — Deliberately

A trustworthy vendor is precise about the boundary. Singuard provides software only: it never holds trader funds, never processes money in its own name, and never licenses you to operate. Your company, your regulatory posture, your funds and your compliance obligations remain entirely yours. Any vendor that blurs that line — offering to hold funds or "cover" your legal position — is adding risk to your firm, not removing it. Judge the whole package first-hand in the live demo, then walk through the step-by-step launch playbook.

"Turnkey means the key actually turns: CRM, platform, feed, payments, KYC and policies arriving as one working machine — not a box of parts."

Key Takeaways

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Prop Firm in a Box Really White-Label?

In the Singuard bundle, yes — end to end. Your logo, colors and domain run across the storefront, client portal, emails, certificates and the eTrader terminal itself, with the portal available in five languages. Your traders never see the word Singuard.

Can I Bring My Own Trading Platform Instead of eTrader?

Yes. The CRM connects in one click to MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, NinjaTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker, and other platforms can be bridged on request — the rules engine works identically across all of them. eTrader is included either way, so many firms run it alongside.

What Do I Still Have to Do Myself?

The parts that must be yours: incorporate your company, own your compliance and legal position (including a legal opinion on your model), define your challenge rules and run your marketing. Everything technological — hosting, integration, updates, uptime — is Singuard's job.

Beyond the software: want to offer MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 alongside eTrader? We arrange it. Need the company and licence first? Through our partners we assist with incorporation and regulatory licensing. Ask us.
