eTrader vs Match-Trader: Which Bundle Fits Your Firm.

Both are sold as one vendor instead of five: platform, CRM, payments and prop tools in a single package. Here is how the two bundles actually differ.

By September 19, 2026 8 min read

Match-Trader is sold as one package: the trading platform, a client office for CRM, payments and prop firm tools, wrapped in white-label web and mobile apps a firm brands as its own. eTrader, built by SGHK, is sold the same way, as one bundle instead of a stack of vendors. That makes this comparison different from most platform match-ups. Both sides are already pitching the same idea, a single vendor instead of five, so the real differences sit in what each bundle actually contains.

Match-Trade Technologies built Match-Trader around TradingView charts and an in-house CRM for forex and prop trading firms, with a white-label option so a broker's clients see the firm's own name on the terminal itself. eTrader takes a different approach to branding: every firm on eTrader gets its own servers inside the shared eTrader apps, shown under its own name and logo, the same way a broker's name appears inside MetaTrader 5 or cTrader. The terminal is shared. The CRM, the client portal, the challenge storefront, the website and the emails are not, and they carry the firm's own brand on its own domain. For the wider field this comparison sits in, see our rundown of MetaTrader alternatives for brokers and prop firms.

What Match-Trader bundles together

Match-Trade Technologies packages Match-Trader with a client office for the firm's operations, payments and dedicated prop firm tools, and offers the platform as a white label a broker or prop firm brands with its own name. A firm running Match-Trader can put its logo on the login screen and the app icon itself, which some operators want more than anything else on this list. The terminal ships with TradingView charts built in, so traders who already chart on TradingView see a familiar layout the day they open an account.

That bundle answers the same question eTrader answers: how does a new firm avoid stitching together a platform, a CRM, a payment stack and prop firm tooling from four different vendors. Where the two differ is in what sits behind the terminal once a firm has it.

What eTrader bundles instead

eTrader is built around one account working the same way on every device: native apps for iPhone, Android and Mac, plus a full trading terminal in any browser, all on the firm's own server, shown with the firm's own name and logo inside the shared eTrader apps. The firm side comes with the eTrader price feed (about 580 instruments with years of history), so a prop firm can go live without buying data or signing with a liquidity provider first. Brokers that want their own execution connect liquidity over FIX and route flow from the built-in eTrader Dealing Desk, which also tracks exposure and flags toxic flow.

MAM / PAMM and copytrading are native parts of eTrader, on the same accounts and in the same terminals, not a plugin bought separately. Robots written in eTrader Code and AI Traders built from blocks in eTrader AI run in SGHK's cloud, so a trader does not rent a server to keep a strategy running. New firms start on SGHK's Broker CRM or Prop Firm CRM with eTrader connected from the first day; firms that already run a CRM connect it through the eTrader CRM API instead.

White-label apps vs a shared terminal

This is the one place eTrader and Match-Trader make opposite bets. Match-Trader's white-label apps put the firm's brand on the terminal a client downloads. eTrader does not offer that: clients install eTrader and pick the firm from the broker list, the way a trader picks a broker's server inside MetaTrader 5 or cTrader. The firm still gets its own instruments, spreads, leverage and client accounts that no other firm can see, and the CRM, storefront, website and emails carry its brand. What it skips is an Apple or Google developer account, a financial app declaration and a store review queue, since updates reach every trader through the shared apps the day they ship.

A firm that wants its name on the app icon itself will lean toward Match-Trader's white-label model. A firm that would rather skip app-store logistics, and is comfortable with clients picking its name from a list the way they already do on MetaTrader and cTrader, fits eTrader's model better. Our guide to white-label trading platforms, and when you do not need one, goes deeper on that trade-off.

eTrader's honest trade-offs against Match-Trader

eTrader is the newer platform of the two products in this comparison, and its third-party library of indicators is smaller than what firms find on platforms that have run for decades. Robots are written in Tide, eTrader's own language, so a strategy built for another platform is rewritten rather than imported. Windows gets the browser terminal today; native Windows apps for the terminal, eTrader Code and eTrader AI are still coming. None of that changes what eTrader includes out of the box: a dealing desk, native MAM / PAMM, native copytrading and a data feed, all inside one platform.

eTrader or Match-Trader: which fits your firm

If the deciding factor is a fully branded app with the firm's own name on it, Match-Trader's white-label model gets there directly. If the deciding factor is a dealing desk with hybrid and split routing, native money-manager accounts and cloud-run automation without a VPS, eTrader covers more of that ground inside one login. Either way, ask for a live demo of both before you sign anything, and test the parts of the stack that matter most to your book: order routing under load, how a payout or a payment run flows through the CRM, and what your data export looks like on day one. Firms weighing a second platform alongside either one can also read how running MT5, DXtrade, cTrader and eTrader side by side works in practice, or check our platform vendor licence checklist before signing. We are happy to be tested the same way: book an eTrader demo.

"A firm choosing between one-vendor bundles should look past the login screen. The dealing desk, the routing rules and the CRM behind it are where the real work of running a book happens."

Key Takeaways

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Match-Trader or eTrader more like a white-label platform?

Match-Trader is the white-label choice: the firm brands the terminal itself, on web and mobile apps sold as part of the package. eTrader is not white-labelled. Each firm gets its own server inside the shared eTrader apps, shown with its own name and logo, while the CRM, client portal, storefront, website and emails carry the firm's brand on its own domain.

Does eTrader include a CRM like Match-Trader's client office?

Not built into the same product, but SGHK sells the Broker CRM and Prop Firm CRM alongside eTrader, connected from day one for new firms. Firms that already run a CRM connect it through the eTrader CRM API instead. Match-Trader's client office ships bundled with the platform itself.

Does eTrader have TradingView charts like Match-Trader?

No. eTrader uses its own native charts, with six chart types, tick charts, market depth, drawing and Fibonacci tools and custom indicators built in eTrader Code. Match-Trader builds its terminal around TradingView's charting suite instead.

Can a prop firm run MAM or PAMM accounts on either platform?

eTrader MAM / PAMM is native to the platform, on the same accounts and in the same terminals, switched on through eTrader Business. We could not confirm whether Match-Trader ships an equivalent as part of its core package, so check that directly with Match-Trade Technologies if it matters to your model.
